Art Throwback - Ep 1 - my first picture book

September 18, 2017 Romica Spiegl

Hello,

do you feel low when you compare your art to other amazing artists? The reality is we often don't see all their failed attempts and all the hours, weeks, months, and years that they have already invested. I believe that we all start small. And what really helps me to feel better when I compare myself too much is to look back at how far I've come.

Welcome to my Art Throwback series

In this video, I share my first picture book which I created when I was 9 years old. This project was completely self-initiated and I'm very happy with the results considering the tools available, my age, and lack of art education at that time. Overall it was a very good experience to look back to where I come from artistically speaking.
